I recently came off of a 6 month stint (maybe more) of painting nothing but drag, transgender and intersexed themed paintings. My show 'GenderBlur' is currently hanging at a little cafe where I live and I have another show coming up in December. I am tired of what I've been doing . . . well not really tired I just need a diversion and am toying around with other ideas at the present though no decisions have yet been made. Maybe The Virgin Mary . . . maybe The Island of Misfit Toys . . . or maybe a million other things will keep my mind and fingers busy for the next few months.

Today I worked on a painting/mixed-media soon to be sculpture called 'Barbie Doll Crotch'. I don't think it's going to be much to write home about when it's done but it's an image in my head that's got to get the feck out.

Currently, I'm drinking cheap beer, listening to my cat snore and trying to coax myself into bed.
